They also show social trends of the time, as well, and while fads and phrases have changed throughout the years, we see that some things remain do the same.<br /><br />Of special interest to me are the acting abilities of silent performers. How many modern day actors and actresses can accomplish such performance with any measure of success? It would be interesting to see.<br /><br />In fact -- if there are any budding film makers out there who would like to create modern silent classics, you are welcome to have them screened and featured here, I'll create a special category just for these.
